Graduation Day (TUAI)
March 7, 2017 Time: 11:00 a.m.
Graduation Day was an important time for the cadets that came to Moton Field to become US Army Pilots. Join a Park Ranger in a conversation about how this accomplishment changed the lives of the men who became pilots.
National Park Week
April 16 – 22, 2017
Still America’s Best Idea – students are invited to the Tuskegee Airmen Site to discuss various opportunities for recreation, education, and stewardship within the National Park Service.

Children 6 – 12 years of ago are invited to attend. This Hangar 1 experience will focus on the work of the Tuskegee Airmen and their pursuit of excellence. (TUAI)
Junior Ranger Summer Camp – Building a Legacy (TUAI)
July 8, 2017 Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
Junior Rangers will learn about the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen and build model airplanes like the airmen did when they were children. Reservations Required.
July 15, 2017 Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
Learn the basics about flight with our “Planes that Fly” program. You will make various planes out of paper and fly them all while learning about the Tuskegee Airmen. Reservations Required.
Model Airplane Building Workshop (TUAI)
September 2, 2017 Time: 10:00 a.m.
Youth ages 8 – 18 join a Park Ranger learn about and build model airplanes like those flown by the Tuskegee Airmen. Bring a parent. Be Inspired.
Veterans Day Program (TUAI)
November 11, 2017 Time: 11:00
Recognize the sacrifice and triumphs of our veterans through a presentation of real life modern military veterans on theis Veterans Day.
African Americans in the Military (TUAI)
December 16, 2017 Time: 2:00 p.m.ember 3, 2016 2016 Time: 10:00 a.m.
Youth Join us for our winter film festival. You will learn about great, historic African American leaders in all walks of life through film.
